Friend chat on PineappleChat
Friend chat is for people you want to keep after a random chat. Register with email, confirm the 6-digit code, and you get a profile, friends, last seen, and an inbox. Both people must be registered to become friends.
What you get after you register
- A saved profile so you do not fill the start form every time
- Friend requests (only member to member)
- Inbox messages that wait if the other person is offline
- Read-style delivery on inbox threads
Inbox limits
Registered members can send up to five inbox messages until the other person replies. The count resets after a reply or after 48 hours. This reduces spam. Live chat with someone who is online is separate from that inbox cap.
Random chat still works
You do not have to register to talk to people who are online now. Friend chat is the extra layer for keeping someone. Guests and members still share the same People list.
